Our nationally-recognized photographer, John Woolley, has 20 years of experience producing Fine Art, Fashion, and Celebrity imagery. After 6 years in New York, working for contemporary commercial masters (including Annie Leibowitz), he opened Aquario Studio, bringing a relaxed 'lifestyle' imagery to San Diego's wedding photography scene. Over time, his wedding clients began families of their own, and he expanded to include maternity, baby, and family portraiture, both on-location and in the studio.

John's dramatic 'fashion and lifestyle' approach has caught the eye of Good Morning America, In Touch, Professional Photographer, Rangefinder, The Knot, Brides, Ceremony, San Diego Style Weddings, and numerous other publications, making John one of California's best known and most respected portrait photographers. He was recently featured in Professional Photographer magazine as 'One to Watch,' and won First Place in Wedding & Portrait Photographer International's prestigious international 8x10 contest.
