John Woolley
Our lead photographer, John Woolley, is a nationally recognized artist with 25 years experience in Fine Art, Fashion, and Celebrity magazine imagery.
He has shot with many of today's most famous photographers, including contemporary commercial masters Annie Leibovitz, Deborah Feingold, Michael O'Neill, and Lynn Goldsmith, shooting NYC's diverse celebrity personalities.
He opened Aquario Studio in 1999, wanting to bring looser, more 'lifestyle' based imagery to San Diego. His approach is a blend of Fine Art, Paparazzi, and Fashion, resulting in a unique 'Editorial' style. He loves dramatic settings, sculpted light, and lots of movement and spontaneity, for a gorgeous natural feel.
